Authorities are investigating a homicide in the southern Black Hills.

A man was killed at a home west of Custer Friday night, according to Attorney General Marty Jackley. A woman was also injured in the incident.

The DCI identified a male suspect who left the scene before police arrived. He was eventually stopped after a pursuit in Larimer County, Colorado. Authorities say he died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

The names of those involved have not been released. Investigators haven’t given any details on what led up to the shooting.
