Pine Ridge man sentenced to federal prison

A Pine Ridge man was sentenced after pleading guilty to firearm and drug charges.

Justin Bradford, 46, was sentenced to 15 years in a federal prison for Possession of a Firearm and more than 19 years for Conspiracy to Distribute a Controlled Substance.

South Dakota’s U.S. Attorney said in a statement Bradford was a felon so he could not legally possess a firearm. Law enforcement seized three firearms and several kinds of ammunition at his residence.

Bradford was also accused of conspiring to distribute more than 50 grams of methamphetamine.
