Authorities have made an arrest in connection to a Rapid City homicide.
Police said they received a report of a wounded, unconscious man in downtown Rapid City early Thursday morning. When officers arrived, they determined the man was dead.
An investigation resulted in the arrest of 32-year-old Michael Flores Jr., of Rapid City first-degree murder. Police said he is currently on parole for assaulting law enforcement and possession of a controlled substance.
No details about what led up to the homicide have been released.
