A Rapid City man is sentenced to more than 30 years in a federal prison for Conspiracy to Distribute a Controlled Substance.

Thirty-seven-year-old Cory Croyle is indicted for helping to distribute large quantities of fentanyl and heroin in the Rapid City area.

The distribution occurred between 2021 and 2023 and led to the death of a community member.

Officials said Croyle attempted to obstruct the investigation - which helped in giving him a larger sentence.
