Two Sioux Falls residents are charged with multi-decade sentences in connection to a meth ring.

Jesse Richmond pleaded guilty to drug distribution and money laundering charges. The 51 year old is sentenced to over 20 years in a federal prison.

Fifty-three-year-old Tony Hunter pleaded guilty to Conspiracy to Distribute a Controlled Substance. He is sentenced to 27 years in a federal prison.

Court documents say between 2022 and 2023, the men were part of an operation that distributed over 300 pounds of meth in Sioux Falls and the surrounding area.

A Colorado man and Minnesota woman convicted in connection to the ring received similar sentences.
