A man is behind bars in connection to a homicide in northeast South Dakota.
Thirty-four-year-old Bowen Fladland is charged with first-degree and second-degree murder, according to Attorney General Marty Jackley.
Investigators said a female was found dead a at Clark home Tuesday. Fladland was arrested shortly afterward.
Jackley says the suspect and victim knew each other and there’s no threat to the public.
“We ask the public to stay away from the crime scene so a thorough investigation can be done," Jackley said.
The South Dakota DCI is leading the investigation with assistance form the Clark Police Department.
