Rob Rapley, writer/producer/director, talks about his PBS American Experience documentary "The Abolitionists." Vividly bringing to life the epic struggles of the men and women who ended slavery, "The Abolitionists" interweaves drama with traditional documentary storytelling. "The Abolitionists" stars Richard Brooks, Neal Huff, Jeanine Serralles, Kate Lyn Sheil, and T. Ryder Smith, and will premiere as a special presentation in three parts on AMERICAN EXPERIENCE, Tuesdays, January 8th, 15th and 22nd at 8 pm (Central)/ 7 pm (Mountain) on SDPB-TV. It will also appear Sundays, January 13th, 20th and 27th at 9 pm (Central)/ 8 pm (Mountain).
