The Young Southeast Asian Leaders Initiative Professional Fellows Program is back in South Dakota. This program transplants young Asian leaders to the Midwest for an immersive four-week program.
Susan Hackemer is the interim director of career services at the University of South Dakota and coordinator of this program.
Fariza Ahmad and Julio Castor Achmadi are two of the program's fellows. Ahmad is a humanitarian doctor from Malaysia, and Castor Achmadi is a human rights lawyer from Indonesia.
