The South Dakota Board of Regents has appointed Nathan Lukkes as the next executive director and CEO.
Lukkes’ prior experience includes terms as chief of staff and general counsel for the board, and roles in the Governor’s Office of Economic Development. He has been with the Regents since 2014.
Lukkes replaces Brian Maher, who announced his resignation from the board earlier this year.
Maher saw the Regents through Covid, beginning his term in June of 2020.
