NSU partners with other universities to develop AI education

Northern State University received a $25,000 grant for a national humanities initiative on artificial Intelligence education.

NSU is working with four other liberal arts institutions to collaboratively develop the curriculum, readings, activities, and assignments for the program.

The grant brings together faculty from the University of Illinois Springfield, Eastern Connecticut State University, University of Mary Washington and Evergreen State College.

The team’s goal is to establish an understanding of the ethical, social, and cultural impacts generative AI can have on society, according to NSU officials.

The grant was provided by the National Endowment for the Humanities and is facilitated by the Council of Public Liberal Arts Colleges.
