Donald J. Berg, Professor Emeritus of Geography and History at South Dakota State University, has been researching the Dirty '30s for some time and has reached the conclusion that many writers and researchers may have missed the boat on presenting a comprehensive narrative of the Dust Bowl. Berg also discusses the Ken Burns Dust Bowl series which premiered last night.
