This year’s Buffalo Roundup sets a new attendance record 24,178 people.
Game, Fish and Parks officials said riders and park staff rounded up 1,485 animals, including the 488 calves born this year in the park. Staff say the animals condition is excellent overall.
474 bison will be auctioned off on Nov. 2. These bison are auctioned off to help maintain the parks ecosystem.
