Dr. Shawn Vuong is a neurosurgeon for both pediatric and adult patients with Sanford Health in Sioux Falls. He graduated from West Central High School, USD, and USD Sanford School of Medicine. He moved away for his residency and fellowship training. Then he came home. He is one of two fellowship-trained pediatric neurosurgeons in the state. He specializes in treating Chiari malformation, trigeminal neuralgia, traumatic brain injuries, brain tumors and cancers, scoliosis and pediatric hydrocephalus.
