The state Department of Social Services has launched a new program to help child care providers manage the cost associated with mental health treatment.

The behavioral health voucher program extends financial aid to any employee of state-licensed and registered child care providers.

This effort is a continuation of the 605 Strong campaign established in 2021.

DSS officials said there are currently 17 providers across the state with plans to enroll in the program.
