The South Dakota State University Extension is evaluating the child care crisis in our rural communities.

It's doing so through a short survey that's open to child care providers and parents. That survey is available through May 31, 2024.

Audrey Rider is an early childhood field specialist at the SDSU Extension. She joins "In the Moment" to discuss what we know about the child care crisis and what we still need to learn.
