Labor Day in South Dakota

Labor Day is dedicated to the achievements of American workers. But unlike most holidays, it is a nebulous celebration without shared rituals, except for maybe camping out or a family barbeque.

For many of us growing up, it simply meant summer has come to an end. But Labor Day exists because workers demanded structural change to the way of work.
