The 2024 springs state golf championships began on Monday from Yankton, Sioux Falls, and Brookings with four classes being represented.

As another year nears an end, it's fun to look back at some of the great sports and activities moments that surrounded our high schools in South Dakota during 2023.Here's SDPB's Top-10 moments from the year, along with honorable mentions and other great moments as well.

For the first time since 1971, the Watertown Arrows are boys state golf champs in South Dakota. Arrows senior Jake Olson, who won the individual title as a sophomore, walked off the 18th green on Tuesday with an impressive six stroke lead.

Charlie Ziminga shares some memories of his playing and coaching career at Pine Ridge with Craig Mattick. He also looks back at some memories of one of the all-time South Dakota greats SuAnne Big Crow.
