Traffic counts fell Tuesday at the annual Sturgis motorcycle rally.
Nine devices located around the city counted 52,710 vehicles entering the city. That’s down 11 percent from the same day last year.
Total traffic is down 6 percent since the rally began last Friday. Meanwhile, citations, arrests and traffic accidents are running about equal to last year.
The Highway Patrol says authorities have reported 82 DUIs. They've made 199 drug arrests. And they’ve issued about 734 citations.
There have been 64 traffic accidents. One of those accidents was a three-motorcycle crash that killed two people.
