Lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender people and their supporters gathered at an equality summit this weekend in Rapid City. One supporter is local attorney David Patton, president of the Black Hills Center for Equality. Patton says there’s impetus for a national gathering in South Dakota this summer to celebrate an anticipated victory before the U.S. Supreme Court.
