Dakota Midday: Chris Voelz On Title IX

Interview with Chris Voelz, executive director, College Women’s Sports Awards.  Voelz delivers her Harding Lecture Series talk, “From Towels to Trophies: 43 Years of Title IX in College Athletics,” Thursday, November 12 at 7:00 p.m. at the Larson Memorial Concert Hall on the campus of South Dakota State University in Brookings.  A recognized leader in gender equality and intercollegiate athletics, Voelz has more than 35 years of leadership experience, including 14 years as women’s athletics director at the University of Minnesota.  She has been recognized as one of the most influential people in sports by Sports Fitness Magazine and by the Star Tribune.
