Dr. David Pearce, president of Sanford Research, recently returned from the Cellular Horizons conference, held in the Vatican and organized with the support of Pope Francis.
Dr. Pearce presented Sanford Health’s work in rare-disease research and its effort to cure type 1 diabetes under the Sanford Project. He joins Dakota Midday to discuss the power of taking discoveries from “mouse into making treatments” and how working around the clock is making a difference in the lives of children and paving the way for further innovations.
