Senator John Thune told the Washington Post that Republicans are "edging closer and closer" to getting 50 votes for a bare-bones plan to repeal and replace the Affordable Care Act. As debate continues in the Senate, today we hear from Senator Mike Rounds. We spoke with Senator Rounds yesterday afternoon, when he previewed the procedural challenges of the current debate and laid out his predictions for today.

Will Sayler is Fisheries Program Administrator for the South Dakota Game Fish & Parks. Today, he joins us to educate us further about invasive species, what they are and the damage they can cause.

Trumpeter Alex Massa was born and raised in the Black Hills, but for nearly five years, New Orleans has been his home. He's lived in the Crescent City since early 2013 and his mission has been to learn as much as he can about the music, culture food and people of New Orleans. Massa is back in South Dakota, and tomorrow evening, he's performing during Jazz Night at the Pavilion in downtown Sioux Falls. Music begins at 7:30. Now we dip into a genre of literature that attracts some and repels others ... horror. Derric Miller co-writer of Chunks of Hell with Mark Allen. It's an anthology of horror writing. Derric is signing books on July 29 at Last Stop CD Shop in Sioux Falls.
