Jim Reese is an associate professor of English at Mount Marty College in Yankton. He's author of the books "Really Happy" and "Ghost on Third."

For ten years, he has been teaching a rigorous creative writing program in Yankton's Federal Prison Camp. That program is funded by the National Endowment for the Arts and the Federal Bureau of Prisons. The 10th anniversary edition of the course's anthology, 4 p.m. Count has been released.
