Philip High School Team Places In Capital Hill Challenge

In The Moment ... June 18, 2018 Show 360 Hour 1

The Capitol Hill Challenge brings nearly 3,400 teams of students from all 50 states into competition. The challenge? Invest a hypothetical $100,000 for a 14 week time period in listed stocks, bonds, and mutual funds and maximize the return of your team portfolio.

Philip High School is the first South Dakota school to place in the top ten nationally.

We're joined by Philip High School teacher Brigitte Burcklacher, team member Hunter Peterson, and Professor Don Altmyer, Director of the Center for Economic Education and Stock Market Game coordinator.

Chris has nearly 30 years of experience in radio broadcasting and production.
