Stopping The Cycle Of Child Abuse

Chris Laughery

In The Moment ... April 23, 2019 Show 560 Hour 1

More than 4,000 children experience sexual abuse each year. The Center for the Prevention of Childhood Maltreatment aims to eliminate that. Whether it's training mandatory reporters or helping victims and their families work through the criminal justice system, the CPCM is dedicated to stopping the cycle of child abuse. Carrie Sanderson is the director of the center and Jolene Loetscher is on the advisory board for CPCM.

Lori Walsh is a special correspondent with SDPB and host of the "In the Moment" podcast.
