President Donald Trump arrives in South Dakota Friday - the same night that the much publicized fireworks display at Mount Rushmore happens. However, Trump supporters are already gathering today for speaking events and fundraisers that lead up to Friday's fireworks. Scheduled speakers today and tomorrow include Charlie Kirk, the founder of Turning Point, USA, Kellyanne Conway, My Pillow CEO Mike Lindel, Kimberly Guilfoyle and Donald Trump Jr.
The weekend is not without its dissenters. There are those who fear the fireworks show will turn into a political rally, Tribes who see Mt. Rushmore as the desecration of a sacred mountain, those with environmental concerns and others worried about the spread of COVID-19.
