Authorities say one person was killed in a hunting accident in western South Dakota.
A hunter was fatally shot Sunday afternoon while walking in a field near Red Owl, according to the Meade County Sheriff's Office.
Officials identified the victim as Dylan Evans, 30, of Piedmont, South Dakota.
Evans was walking with several other people, including juveniles, at the time. Authorities have not said who shot him.
The incident is still under investigation.
