Analysis: Gov. Rhoden supports DHS Secretary Noem, but with nuance

Kristi Noem’s Department of Homeland Security has publicly accused American citizens of attacking federal agents, labeling them as domestic terrorists.

But many of those people are never charged or convicted of the crimes, and video evidence calls Noem’s depiction of incidents with federal agents into question.

Noem’s successor as South Dakota governor, Larry Rhoden, says he supports Noem, but his response to her tactics is more nuanced.
