Mid Term Grades

Jason Andera & Nate Wek hand out mid-season grades—but not to teams... to the media! How well did they predict the polls? Plus, meet the Game Time Game Changers—the top playmakers lighting up the field across South Dakota. And don’t miss their deep dive into Friday night’s biggest matchups, including another epic #1 vs. #2 showdown as Sioux Falls Christian heads to Madison!

Jason started his career in media at KSFY Television in 1997, where he launched the inaugural Pigskin Preview magazine that covers high school football in South Dakota. He then began a career at Midco Sports in 2011, where he continued his passion for covering high school sports. His contributions included starting a weekly show called Varsity Sports Now and a live show on Friday nights called Varsity Sports Live. He also was the play-by-play announcer for high school games on the network. Jason graduated from the University of South Dakota in 1997 with a degree in Mass Communication. He now lives with his family in Sioux Falls.
Nate Wek is currently the sports content producer and sports and rec beat reporter for South Dakota Public Broadcasting.
