A Yankton man has been sentenced to 85 years in prison for his role in a 2022 shooting death. Trevor Wayne Harrison was sentenced in Yankton County Court this week.

A U.S. government construction and engineering firm has been awarded more than $43 million to construct a B-21 weapons training facility in South Dakota. The facility will be built at Ellsworth Air Force Base.

Combat zone veterans have until midnight on Saturday to enroll directly in VA healthcare. This special enrollment period is part of the PACT Act.
