On today's update...

State lawmakers are heading into the final week of legislative session. As SDPB's Lee Strubinger reports, there are a few outstanding topics lawmakers have left to consider.

A bill requiring the Department of Health to create a video explaining the state's abortion law is heading to the governor's desk. The legislature has given its final approval on HB 1224.

A group of bills aimed at pipeline regulation and landowner rights are fighting their way to the legislative finish line. The three bills have been a point of contention for lawmakers this session.

A major Aberdeen manufacturing plant that employs more than 300 people is closing its doors. Banner Engineering will close its plant at the end of the year.

And more.
