Several Sioux Falls City Council seats are filled, but another is up for grabs after this week's municipal election. No one in the three-candidate race for the council's open "at-large" seat received the majority required to win.

The Sioux Falls School District is joining a national initiative to combat vaping. It's a trend health officials say is affecting the mental development of youth across the nation.

Sturgis voters are rejecting a contract with a company that wants to bring a race to the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally. But that doesn't mean the event can't happen.
