On today's update...

The state has revitalized its State Health Improvement Plan after being paused during the pandemic. What are the results?

South Dakota Attorney General Marty Jackley is looking for public input on a pair of draft explanations for ballot questions brought forward by the legislature. One is a constitutional amendment that would allow the state to impose work requirements for Medicaid recipients. The other updates pronouns in the state constitution for elected officials, making them gender neutral.

Despite lawmakers passing a bill addressing eminent domain, some South Dakotans are still pushing for stronger landowner rights. It's been a hot-button issue since companies started surveying pathways to build carbon pipelines through the eastern part of the state.

In their first stop on a nationwide tour, U.S. Small Business Administration leaders checked into Rapid City. With much changing in the post-COVID business landscape, there was plenty to discuss.

And more.
