Governor Kristi Noem is the subject of a new, 45-minute documentary released by a Cleveland-based studio. Transition Studios is releasing "America's Governor: The Kristi Noem Story" Thursday.

New details are emerging about the Native Women's Health Clinic in Rapid City, which has not seen any patients since April 2023. Those details include why two tribes are pulling their federal shares from the program.

With election security a hot topic going into November, auditors from Deadwood to De Smet want to be ready for the show. That includes the state's biggest county, where the matter was addressed at the most recent commission meeting.

A water quality advocacy group is saying although the state's high precipitation this spring is good to combat drought, it is also having a negative impact on the Big Sioux River.
