Two South Dakota OBGYNs are leading a group of doctors to support a constitutional amendment to legalize abortion in the state. The so-called "Freedom Amendment" reinstates a right to abortion in the first two trimesters of pregnancy.

The 2024 Joe Biden Presidential campaign is over. Now, the state's Democratic delegates say they're all in for support of presumptive nominee Vice President Kamala Harris.

Governor Kristi Noem is joining 20 other state governors urging Congress to pass the Strengthening State and Tribal Support Act. Noem said it would provide tribes with direct access to tax refund offsets to use in child and family support.

South Dakota officials are changing trophy bison hunting laws in the state to allow archery hunting and are increasing the number of licenses available. Previous law set by the department restricted hunters to using a high-powered rifle.
