South Dakota Public Utilities Commissioners grant an increase in electric fees for Otter Tail Power customers. Customers are expected to see an average bill of $112 a month.

A new study questions if South Dakota should consolidate its public safety dispatch centers. The state 911 Coordination Board commissioned the study looking at the state's 32 dispatch centers.

New regulations under the federal Safe Drinking Water Act impose limits to keep waters clean. Forever chemicals or PFAS decay very slowly in the environment, leaving them abundant in soil and water.

There are fewer places for dark matter particles to hide thanks to a detector located a mile underground in the northern Black Hills. The Lux-Zeplin detector has narrowed down possibilities where these particles exist. But the detector is reaching its capacity.
