From Rapid City to Pine Ridge and across the state in Sioux Falls, schools across South Dakota have dealt with disruption to start the academic year. One single social media post can put a school on lockdown, and administrators are dealing with the consequences.

The Sioux Falls City Council is considering an ordinance enhancing code relating to alcohol consumption in public—namely, the local library. Siouxland Libraries director Jodi Fick says it's been a challenge this year.

Sioux Falls' new transit plan starts this week offering new routes, shorter wait times, and more coverage for the area. SAM's Reimagined Plan brings nine new bus routes to the area.

Volleyball is back and high school athletes have been on the court to set, spike, and serve up some fantastic games. The players out of Dell Rapids are having quite the start to the season.
