The full Rapid City Common Council is endorsing a resolution in opposition to removing the state grocery sales tax. This comes after the proposal was unanimously supported by the local legal and finance committee.

South Dakotans may soon have to upload a photo of their government identification to access pornography on the internet. An interim legislative committee is endorsing a proposal aligned with a Texas law before the U.S. Supreme Court.

With the investment of $3.4 million into the Rapid City Area Schools mental health services, some say its a meaningful step in the right direction. Others, though, say there's still a massive gap in local mental healthcare.

Prairie Berry Winery and Miner Brewing Company of Hill City will both close their doors by the end of 2024. The pair are operated by the same ownership group and have been a staple of the Black Hills for the past 25 years.

While its been abnormally warm this fall and there's been a noticeable lack of rain, the extended summer does have its upsides. Soccer players met on the pitch last week for the State Soccer Championships under some of the best weather conditions.
