Kirk Chaffee is a Republican candidate for the State House of Representatives in District 29 which include parts of Butte, Meade and Pennington Counties.

Chaffee is a first-time candidate for the South Dakota Legislature.

He has previously been appointed to the State House and Senate Ag Land Assessment Implementation and Oversight Advisory Task Forces.
