Brian Gentry is an Independent candidate for the South Dakota Senate in District 35 which lies in Pennington County. Gentry was born and raised in Indianapolis, Indiana. His candidacy is inspired, in part, by former District 35 lawmaker Lynne DiSanto. It embraces some of her conservative values.
