In The Moment … October 22, 2020 Show 926 Hour 2
Amy Coney Barrett is now one step closer to become the newest justice on the U.S. Supreme Court. Judiciary Committee Democrats boycotted this morning's vote, leading to a vote of 12 yeas and 10 abstentions. It's been a fiercely political process, and here to help us unpack what happened (and what happens next) is an associate professor of criminal justice at the University of Sioux Falls Mike Thompson. Also joining us to look at the background of this process through a public policy lens is Mike Card, associate professor of Political Science at the University of South Dakota.
Reporting on politics and public policy is supported by the Center for Western Studies at Augustana University
