This discussion begins with Amendment C which will appear on the ballot during the primary on June 7:
A "yes" vote supports requiring a three-fifths (60%) supermajority vote for the approval of ballot measures placed on the ballot through citizen initiative or referred to the ballot by the state legislature that increase taxes or fees or that would require the state to appropriate $10 million or more in the first five fiscal years.
A "no" vote opposes requiring a three-fifths (60%) supermajority vote for the approval of ballot measures that increase taxes or fees or that would require the state to appropriate $10 million or more in the first five fiscal years, thereby continuing to allow such measures to be adopted by a simple majority vote.
