The interview posted above is from SDPB's daily public affairs show, In the Moment with Lori Walsh.

Today we have Michael Card Ph.D., emeritus professor of public policy & management at the University of South Dakota and Jonathan Ellis is a reporter with The Dakota Scout.

Jonathan Ellis first breaks down the ballot question about Wholestone Farms which would be the 2nd meatpacking plant in Sioux Falls. Michael Card weighs in on how Governor Kristi Noem says the whole thing is bad for business.

Secondly, the panelists discuss the Summit Carbon Solutions pipeline. This conversation is about landowners and the use of eminent domain.

The segment closes with a brief discussion regarding the South Dakota Government Accountability Board and its involvement with Governor Kristi Noem and wether or not it changes the race for governor.

Lori Walsh is a special correspondent with SDPB and host of the "In the Moment" podcast.
Chris has nearly 30 years of experience in radio broadcasting and production.
