Updating bureaucratic regulations is not the most glamorous or exciting topic at the legislature, but it's still an important job that takes up a lot of lawmakers' time.

House Bill 1121 is one of those bills. It modified the definition of a pesticide dealer in South Dakota.

While the bill was fairly narrow in scope, it did impact agriculture, the state's largest history. So perhaps it's not surprising the bill saw a fair amount of debate before it was ultimately passed by the legislature and signed by Gov. Kristi Noem.
