Michael Sandel, world-renowned philosopher and author, speaks with Lori Walsh about merits, freedom and self-reliance.
Sandel will give a keynote presentation titled "Tyranny of Merit: What's Become of the Common Good?" about his book of the same name. The event is open to the Augustana community, alumni and friends at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 26 in the Elmen Center.
His presentation kicks off the inaugural Critical Inquiry and Citizenship Colloquium at Augustana.
