Gov. Kristi Noem is joining a Coalition for Energy Choice with her colleagues.
Noem said the coalition hopes to formulate energy policies that benefit working families, businesses and local communities.
The coalition is also hoping to minimize permitting and other regulatory behaviors, ensure energy choice, focus on affordability and reliability of energy infrastructure and coordinate to positively manage energy resources and the environment.
She and nine other Republican governors are in the coalition so far.
