Jackley urging Senate to confirm Pam Bondi as U.S. Attorney General

South Dakota Attorney General Marty Jackley is joining a coalition urging the U.S. Senate to confirm Pam Bondi as U.S. Attorney General.

He, along with 30 other current and future attorneys general, sent a letter to Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell and Sen. John Thune praising Bondi.

Jackley called her “fair-minded, impartial and collegial.” He also praised her work on human trafficking and the war on drugs.

Jackson Dircks is a Freeburg, Illinois, native. He received a degree from Augustana University in English and Journalism. He started at SDPB as an intern before transitioning to a politics, business and everything in-between reporter based in Sioux Falls.
