Joe Batcheller is throwing his hat into the ring and announcing a run for Sioux Falls Mayor.
Current Mayor Paul TenHaken is unable to run again due to term limits.
Batcheller most recently worked as the President of Downtown Sioux Falls – a position he resigned from in October. He’s previously had stints in Colorado for different city planning positions.
He has never held elected office.
Batcheller joins state Sen. Jamie Smith, former mayoral candidate David Zokaites and businesswoman and former state Rep. Christine Erickson who have all officially announced runs.
