Friends of SDPB Celebrates SoundVision with New Brew

South Dakota Public Broadcasting has teamed up with Severance Brewing and Hay Camp Brewing to create a one of a kind brew in support of SDPB’s Sound Vision Campaign – the Sound Vision Blood Orange Pilsner.

The Sound Vision Campaign is a dynamic effort to expand local news and entertainment and improve current programming. SDPB set out to raise $13,000,000 - $1,000,000 to build two news studios in Sioux Falls and Rapid City (done!), an additional $2,000,000 to enhance local programming, and $10 million in endowment gifts. Currently, South Dakotans have raised $12.3 million towards the $13 million goal.

Please join us on July 9 (Rapid City) or July 15 (Sioux Falls) for the official release of this unique brew. The event will include live entertainment and a food truck. A portion of all beer sales will go towards the Sound Vision Campaign. SDPB has been part of the landscape of South Dakota for nearly a century. Help us continue building community, one story at a time!
