In this 2019 Dakota Life story, SDPB attends the Crazy Horse Volksmarch, an organized hike that draws thousands of people to the monument in the spring and fall. The walk offers hikers a unique opportunity to climb and stand atop the Crazy Horse sculpture—the world's largest mountain carving.
